SPWP Clubs

Hamma Beads Club - Years 1, 2 & 3: This is where our pupils get hands-on in designing original shapes and images using Hamma beads. It’s a fun way to develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and creativity.

Jewellery Making Club – Years 3, 4, 5 & 6: A club specially made to develop fine motor skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities through hands-on crafting.

Animation Club – Years 1 and above: A club where future animators get to prosper and learn new techniques. They’ll be able to develop skills in storytelling through visual communication, which fosters creativity and independence.

Girls’ Football Club – Years 5 & 6: An opportunity for girls to develop their skills in sports, most specifically football. The sessions focus on teamwork and help build on their physical education, motor skills and confidence.

Football Club – Years 1 & 2: This is where our pupils will have the opportunity to learn and develop their football skills through fun and engaging activities and challenges. We have professional coaches from Premier Coaches who come in to truly show them the ropes.

Basketball Club – Years 4, 5 & 6: An opportunity for children to learn and improve on their basketball skills through fun and engaging challenges. It helps enhance their motor skills while also encouraging teamwork and sportsmanship.

Gardening Club – Years 1 and above: A special opportunity to get our pupils hands-on in planting, weeding and tending to plants. They learn about the life cycle of different plants and vegetables, helping to promote healthy eating habits.

Dodgeball Club – Years 5 & 6: This is where children get the chance to improve upon their throwing and catching skills, hand-eye coordination and agility.

Glockenspiel Club – Year 1, 2 & 3: A club that teaches pupils how to play the glockenspiel. They’ll learn specific rhythms, notes and songs. They’ll build on their musical knowledge, confidence and creativity.

Art Years 1, 2 & 3: A club that helps foster creativity with a twist of independence. They’ll be able to create artwork from their creativity by exploring various techniques that provide them the opportunity to develop their artistic skills and express themselves.

Archery and Fencing Club – Years 5 & 6: A unique opportunity where children will learn how to handle archery and fencing equipment. They’ll be able to participate in various games and challenges that will not only enhance their hand-eye coordination, but also their teamwork skills.
