We are incredibly proud to share the achievements of two of our hardworking Year 13 students, Sami and Umar, who recently had the opportunity to attend an event at Buckingham Palace.  

Both students have been dedicated participants in the Construction Youth Trust's Professional Skills Programme throughout Year 12, attending after-school sessions focused on accessing apprenticeships and career development.

Their commitment and determination were recognised when they were selected to attend a special event at Buckingham Palace, at which explored the exciting world of degree apprenticeships.

During this visit, Sami and Umar learned about the various roles available and received valuable guidance on making strong applications for apprenticeships. 

This experience was not only a fantastic opportunity for them to gain insights into career pathways but also allowed them to receive direct support from industry professionals to help them on their journey.  

We could not be prouder of how they represented St Paul's Way Secondary School, demonstrating professionalism and enthusiasm throughout the event. 

As Sami and Umar now begin the application process for degree apprenticeships, we would like wish them both the very best of luck. Their hard work and perseverance are truly inspiring, and we look forward to seeing where this next step in their journey takes them.
