The publication of today’s GCSE results sees St Paul’s Way School’s Class of 2024 celebrating outstanding achievements.

The school continues to perform significantly above the national average across all of the main measures, demonstrating the excellent education on offer at St Paul’s Way School.

Behind the impressive headline figures are numerous stories of individual success. Isaac Scott, who achieved nine grade 9s, spoke passionately about the school’s approach to education and gave credit to his teachers who had provided support to him along the way.

Isaac’s peers, Naseema Al-Habib, Ibrahim Rashid and Safwan Ahmed joined in the celebrations after each receiving eight grade 9s and one grade 8. 

Congratulations also go to the following students who received at least five grade 9’s:

• Najia Ahmed
• Habiba Hussain

Speaking about her students’ results, Head of School Firdusi Uddin said: “I never cease to be inspired by what students at our school can achieve. Whatever challenges are thrown at them they overcome with a steely determination.

“We have a long and proud track record of outstanding examination results at St Paul’s Way School, but we never rest on our laurels. There is a commitment to excellence that runs through everything we do.

“To achieve this level of attainment consistently I must praise my incredible team of teaching and support staff. Their dedication to our students knows no bounds.”

Echoing these sentiments, Senior Leader for Year 11, Owen Williams stated: “This group of students has continued the SPW tradition of excelling in their GCSE exams. They are perfect role models for the future generations of students who will follow in their footsteps.”

Our Year 10 RE students, who sat their examination one year early, were also discovering how well rewarded their hard work had been. We are delighted to announce that a staggering amount – more than one in ten – received a grade 9. This is a truly magnificent effort.
