This term, as we do every term, we hosted a Challenge Time session, where we welcomed parents and carers into our classrooms to explore the wonderful world of Maths.

These sessions are held each term with all our year groups, but this time, we had the pleasure of visiting our Year 3 classes.

During their session, our students worked through Maths problems with the assistance of their parents. Many took the opportunity to use whiteboards or even draw images to help calculate their equations, making the experience both interactive and enjoyable.

The classrooms were buzzing with excitement as our students cheered every time they successfully solved a problem, creating a vibrant and engaging atmosphere.

We know how vital it is to involve parents in the academic learning of our students. Events like these not only help to boost their confidence but also enhance their educational progress.

Sultana, a parent, said, "These sessions are a great insight into what and how my child is learning. It's not just about sending them to school; we get to see how their day works and feel involved in their learning."

Moreover, witnessing their child's progress and capabilities first-hand helps build a trusting relationship between teachers and parents, strengthening the home-school partnership.
