Primary Admissions
Every year we have a new intake of Nursery children and Reception children. Nursery children are able to start in the term following their 3rd birthday (subject to places being available); Reception children usually start in the September following their 4th birthday.
We also admit children into other year-groups, subject to spaces being available. For applications to all year groups you should contact the Local Authority.
Like all schools, if there are more applicants than places, we have to prioritise children in accordance with our admission policy.
Once a child has been admitted we invite parents and families to be actively involved in school life supporting their child and, through that, strengthening and enriching our local community.
Each year we hold open days where parents can come along and find out more about what life is like at St Paul’s Way Foundation School. If you would like to come to one of these sessions, please contact the Foundation School Office to find out more information.
Parents who are considering applying for a place are encouraged to contact the Foundation School office to arrange a visit.
Year 7 Admissions
We encourage all prospective parents and students to visit our Open Week held annually in September. These events enable families to tour the school as well as meet staff and current students.
St Paul's Way Secondary is part of the Borough's admissions system. We follow strict admissions criteria set out in our policy, and in doing so the school is committed to ensuring equality of opportunity in the admissions process. St Paul’s Way Secondary recognises its legal duties under the Equality Act 2010 to prohibit discrimination, harassment and victimisation because of protected characteristics.
When students have been accepted to St Paul's Way, we run a programme of events to support with the KS2-3 transition detailed on our Transition Page.
Mid-phase Admissions
If you have recently moved into the area or wish to transfer to St Paul's Way as a mid phase admission, please contact Tower Hamlets borough for further guidance on the most up to date information on school places.
Music Places
If you wish your child to be considered for a place at St Paul’s Way Trust School you must also include it amongst your preferences when you submit your Common Application (secondary transfer) Form to Tower Hamlets local authority or your home local authority, if you do not live in Tower Hamlets.

Sixth Form Admissions
Sixth Form admissions are carried out in-house and we uphold our duties not to discriminate because of protected characteristics during this application process.
After we have received your application we will contact you to arrange an interview where will discuss your A level course choices. Academic references supporting your application for A level study and stating your predicted grades will be requested from your current school.
Offers will be made on the basis of your interview, reference and predicted GCSE grades. Predicted grades must meet the general requirements for entry into the sixth form and also any special requirements for the courses that you have chosen.
Students who accept their conditional offer will be invited to our Sixth Form Induction events in the summer term.
