In July 2025, St Paul’s Way proudly hosted its prestigious annual Science Summer School, presented once again by our patron, Professor Brian Cox CBE and in association with Lord Andrew Mawson OBE.

This marked our thirteenth anniversary and the first time in several years the event returned in person since the pandemic - a truly fantastic success. We welcomed over 700 students, including substantial numbers from external schools across the borough, to explore the exciting world of STEAM. Students participated in engaging workshops such as, Electric car test tracks with Jaguar Land Rover, Coding discovery sessions with HSBC and Hands-on organ dissections led by our talented SPW staff.

This event would not have been possible without the invaluable support of RMG Associates, The Tasso Foundation, and Poplar Harca, whose generous donations enabled us to deliver an experience of exceptional calibre.

We opened our doors to pharmacists, engineers, scientists, technicians, mathematicians, and artists, all united in inspiring young people and broadening their horizons. Our Sixth Form students also benefited from an extraordinary networking event with these industry professionals, creating opportunities to build crucial business connections that might otherwise have been out of reach.

A highlight of the day was a one-on-one workshop with Professor Brian Cox for ten lucky students—an experience they will treasure for a lifetime. We were also supported by QMUL student ambassadors, whose assistance was instrumental in safely facilitating an event of this scale.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all external partners who delivered workshops and to our dedicated staff whose collaboration made this event truly unforgettable. Without the combined efforts of staff, partners, and volunteers, none of this would have been achievable.
