This term, we had our sixth formers visit the HSBC Tower in Canary Wharf to introduce them to the world of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Maths). During their session, they were exposed to industry knowledge and career development advice.
We understand how vital it is to encourage our young adults to consider pursuing beneficial career paths like these. This is why we believe it is truly inspirational for them to witness the sector first-hand.
Our students were welcomed into the HSBC showroom, where they explored innovative ideas on how technology is transforming the working world.
The sessions were led by HSBC graduates, which allowed our students to relate to them on a personal level. They were able to discover both the complexities and the simplicity of what it takes to succeed in the profession.
The workshop began with a tour of the impressive building, which far exceeded our students' expectations. They were then given insight into the world of A.I. and how it is actively transforming the functionality of jobs.
Additionally, they received personal advice on how to improve their CVs and truly capture the attention of potential employers.
We’d like to thank HSBC for their generosity in opening up opportunities for our students. Many felt more confident about considering this profession and even gained a clearer idea of where to begin.
At St. Paul’s Way, we pride ourselves on ensuring we provide innovative and transformational education that positively impacts the lives of our students.
We aim to continue exposing them to exceptional career and academic opportunities that will help foster a sense of confidence and allow them to truly embody our core value of ambition.
