We were delighted to take part in this years Children in Need event. The day was filled with excitement as pupils arrived in their favourite outfits for a special non school uniform day.  

From bright colours to cosy jumpers, the school was full of energy as children and staff joined together to support an important national cause. Thanks to the generosity of our families the school raised an impressive total of £235. 

Children in Need is a national charity that supports children and young people across the United Kingdom who are facing a wide range of challenges.  

This includes providing emotional support, improving access to education, funding community projects and ensuring that vulnerable children have a safe and positive environment in which to grow.  

The charity works with organisations that help children who may be experiencing poverty, illness, neglect or difficulties at home. By raising money we are helping to provide life changing opportunities that allow young people to build confidence, stay safe and develop new skills. 

Even a small contribution can make a meaningful difference. It can help fund counselling sessions for children who are struggling, sports clubs that build confidence or creative activities that allow young people to express themselves. 

Our school community understands the importance of standing together to make a positive change and we are proud to play our part in supporting such an important cause. 

This event reflects one of our school values Community. By working together and showing kindness we help create a supportive environment for everyone both inside and outside our school.
